CANBERRA, April 20 AAP - The main stories in today's Canberra Times:

Page 1: Australia expects to send more troops to quell civil unrest in Solomons after
riotous mobs torched parts of the capital and attacked Australian police. ACT needs to
seriously contemplate closing some schools, says ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope, as new
figures reveal falling enrolments at some public schools.

Page 2: Dusk-to-dawn curfew declared as hundreds of looters and arsonists rampage through
Honiara ahead of arrival of 180 Australian troops.
