MELBOURNE, Feb 5 AAP - AFL football legend Peter Daicos has been treated in hospital
after being bitten by a snake.

It is understood the former Collingwood player was at his Balwyn home in Melbourne's
east when he was bitten on the left foot by the potentially deadly red-bellied black snake.

A spokesman at Melbourne's St Vincent's Hospital confirmed Daicos was brought in on
Wednesday night.
