NSW: Workers held up in Sydney robbery

SYDNEY, Aug 20 AAP - Two shop attendants were threatened with firearms and a knifeduring a brazen mid-city Sydney robbery.

The armed robbery of a money exchange outlet in the Pitt Street Mall happened about5.25pm (AEST) yesterday.

A police spokesman said two men in clothes pulled up to their faces entered the shopand threatened a male and female attendant with weapons.

The pair then escaped with an undisclosed sum of money, he said.

Neither attendant was injured.

Both offenders were said to look like Pacific Islanders in their 20s. One was about183cm tall, of medium build with a shaved head while the other was about 178cm tall.
