'Swan Lake' coming to Artscape.(Life)

TO celebrate its 75th birthday, Cape Town City Ballet will bring the classic Swan Lake to the Artscape Opera House from June 12-21.

Guest artist Angela Malan, senior principal ballerina with the South African Ballet Theatre, will be dancing two performances of the dual role of Odette/Odile, partnered by Xola Putye.

CTCB's principal ballerina Megan Swart will also be partnered by Xola Putye in the same role, while Laura Bosenberg will dance Odette to Janine Laidlow's Odile, supported by Thomas Thorne as Prince Siegfried.
